Since its establishment, KOYO CHEMICAL has been engaged in joint R&D; with other companies, universities, public research institutes. And has been manufacturing and selling chitin, chitosan, glucosamine as the main materials extracted from crustaceans. Chitosan and glucosamine, in particular, have been used as functional health food ingredients and have contributed to prolonging the healthy life. Presently, chitosan is being used not only in the food industry, but also in a wide range of industrial, agricultural and cosmetic applications. The Materials Sales department sells glucosamine, chitosan and other ingredients for professional use, mainly to
domestic sales companies and contract processing manufacturers. With a rich collection of in-house research data and
information, we are able to respond quickly to any questions from our customers.

This Department began as an importer of raw materials for the manufacturing of the company's own products, but nowadays it not only imports and exports its own products, but also engages in commercial activities dealing with a wide range of domestic and foreign products.

- In our Manufacturing Department, we produce chitin, chitosan, glucosamine, N-acetylglucosamine,
chitin
oligosaccharide and chitosan oligosaccharide with the highest quality. We are also one of the few
manufacturers who can provide integrated production from domestic crab shells to complete final
products.

Quality assurance Dept.
In order to provide safe and trustworthy products to our customers, the Quality Assurance Department strives to maintain and improve quality by implementing thorough quality control, self-inspection of manufacturing plants, management of documentation, acquisition and maintenance of GMP, ISO and other certifications.

R&D; Dept
Our R&D; department is constantly working to introduce new technologies to meet the needs of our customers, collaborating with universities and research institutions, actively participating in academic associations. Through our sales team we also support our customers in the development of their products.
